Bishop Columbus Ede (45) became a bishop five years ago. A head clerk in Aetherwick, he is jolly and warm, friendly, but only to those who have a certain status. He doesn’t have time to waste on the poor. 

To some people, life can be very generous. You are one of them. Mostly because you have always knew how to help yourself. 

You were clever. When there was a mischief to be done, you got sure someone else got caught. When you wanted to gain something, you lied and manipulated your way through. 

You wanted to be put to the seminar. You saw how well the city priest was living, and you wanted to have your own comfortable life as well. It was never about faith in god. You have never believed. You are perfect agnostic. To clever for such a bullshit. But also too lazy, and too nasty. When one is enjoying too much of a pleasure, it starts to get boring, and one starts to search for more interesting delicatesses. That’s how you got a taste for young boys, and later on young males. You have never been one of the molested, being way to clever for getting caught in someone else’s snares. But since you grew older, and reached a certain power in the convent, you started to use it to your advantage. And you placed your sight on one of the prettiest roses in the garden, a charming and defiant Arthur Dart, a second son of a rich merchant. Oh, that twisted little fuck, what he was able to do with your fat body. You low key fell in love with him, and even now, you are wishing time from time to go back to those days. 

Many priests were like you, opportunists and hypocrites, ready to use the power and wealth of church to sprinkle the path of their life with gold. But there were also some who truly sensed the need to help the others, and to “God’s work on Earth”. One of such sily creatures was Elliot Gregory, a poor nobody who has his parish in Aetherwick. Still, you know that he was in the convent in the same time like you and Dart. And you know he saw you taking dart to your private chambers… You are above him, you treat him kindly, but in patronizing way, yet, you fear a bit he could bring you to troubles.

After you settled down in Aetherwick as a bishop, you started to work on your network to keep you covered. First on the list was a Merrill Collins (42), a crime-lord controlling city prostitutes, who is delivering you girls (or boys) in a secrecy. She was also the one who introduced you to a women who opened your eyes to a real decadency. Lady Muriel Clubb (34), running her little Hellfire club in the city. She was happy to accept you in her ranks – a real bishop worshiping a devil, well, isn’t this a wonderful joke? Her husband, a beautiful Early Clubb (33) is also taking part. You wish to sleep with him, but he doesn’t seems to be open to those forms of pleasure. 

Sometimes, Claudia Knight (22) is joining you, right hand of Merrill Collins,  a mere commoner, but so pretty you wish to get her on her knees in front of you. You noticed she is very religious, maybe you should use it to your advantage.

There is also lady Isabela Scott (34), a married woman cheating on her husband regularly. It would be great to sleep with her as well. He husband, sir Waverly Scott (52), is a war hero, but also alcoholic, and gambler. Last time you saw him, he was taking a part in an illegal hazard game organised by Logan Ahern (42) together with you, merchant Bradley Harrington (42), and merchant Arthur Dart. He lost a lot of money, and couldn’t pay. Ahern will surely take his due pretty soon. 

Scott’s have a beautiful young daughter, Victoria Scott (16), you remember well from your parish; another blossoming cherry you would like to ripe. And back to Bradley Harrington (42) – he is about to launch a new machine which should replace a human power in his manufactory, and he paid you a decent sum to publicly bless it. 

There is one more important merchant in the city: Hughie McMillan (55), the most religious man you have ever met. He donated truly decent sums to your church in the past, and is one of the reasons you are a rich man now. If he would only new how you used those money. 

There is one more important member of the Hellfire chlub – Neil Johnson (45), a chief of police. What a good connection, he can help you to cover up anything you might need. 

There is one kind of priest which is even worse than those saint assholes like Gregory. The fanatics like Silas David (25). He was send to Aetherwick directly by a Vatican. fanatical zealot with eyes crazier than whole madhouse. He is a member of a special team of exorcists and inquisitors, and as such has a very special position in the church. He cannot be ordering you, but neither you can order to him. And he has connection. If he whispers something bad about you into the wrong ear, you are done for. And what is worse, you have no clue what is he doing here. Is he because of you? Or because of something else? It might be needed to find out the purpose of his stay here, and if neccesarry, get rid of him. But you know that might attract even more attention of Vatican which is the last thing you would desire. 

Due to your life-style full of sex, drug, and alcohol, your health is decaying quickly. Thus, you need the best doctors available. Bruno Turner (40) is such a man. He might be atheist, and not very friendly, but he is a real artist of his craft. 

You are an atheist, but one that reached a great religious power. You will do anything to maintain the status quo… especially when it comes to position of women in society. If women would raise in power and gain equality, your own power could vanish. No way you allow it to happen. 

Arthur Dart (merchant, 30)
Your ex-lover, and colleague in Hellfire club. You are still kinda in love with him, and wish to re-kindle to fire in between the two of you.

Elliot Gregory (priest, 35)
Saint goodyboy. Technically, he is under you, and you are treating him in a patronising way, but you are also aware he saw you taking Arthur Dart to your room, and are worried he could cause you troubles. Even though you have a better connection in church then him, the homosexuality is still illegal.

Merrill Collins (crime lord, 42)
