Mitchell Donaldson (25) recently became an inspector. He is young, strong, and decided to change the city for the better. Somebody has to protect the weak from the wolves.
You had a little sister, Alice Donaldson. You couldn’t protect her.
Lancelot’s dead sister
From the childhood, mom was telling you a stories about Lancelot, a knight of king Arthur, who was fighting the strong, and protecting the weak. She was always leading you to protect the ones in need, and you always did all you could to follow that moral. You thought to be invincible. Until your little sister disappeared. She was only seven years old. Police find her dead a week later. Your hearth got broken. But you promised to find her murderer. With that in mind, you did all you could to become a policeman. In the age of seventeen, you became a city policeman. You were so passionate, you managed to become a detective at the of 25 already.
Chief of police
Your captain, Neil Johnson (45), is a decent man, but you can’t forget he was a policeman investigating disappearance of your sister, but he couldn’t save her. You observe him for a while. You know he is very rich! How come? From the small salary of policemen? he has connection to the highest places, and he is being visited by the most powerful people in Aetherwick. You also know he recently bought some house in Spain… and send his wife and daughter there. You are sure there is something fishy about it, and you suspect he might be corrupted. If you could only find out what he knows about the murder of your sister.
The captain is often visiting a house of sir Early Clubb (33). Why? Maybe you should follow him one day to learn what is happening there.
Colleague
You have a partner Liam Conolly (30). He is tough guy, but he rarely does a job by a book – not as you were taught to do things. You both have each other backs and have a lot of misunderstandings together.
Lover
Recently, you started to be seeing one girl who calls herself Clau. She is so pretty. You think you might be in love.
Crime bosses
There are two main players in the Aetherwick.
Merill Collins (42), a crime lord focused on illegal prostitution, and drugs.
And then, there is Logan Ahern (42), a crime lord focused on illegal hazard, and his right hand Samuel Fidget (22). You used to know him as a kid. You remember protecting him once from the bunch of older bullies.
Poorest of the poor
You are from a poor family, and poor people are your friends. You are close to the Elliot Gregory (35), a local priest who is doing his best to take care of the community.
There is an Arnold Shea (25), your childhood friend. You was his best man at the wedding with Grace Shea (20) three years ago. You fell in love with Grace the moment you saw her for the first time, but Arnold beat you to her, and ended up marrying her. They have two years old daughter now. But they are struggling. Arnold is working in the factory of Bradley Harrington (42), a merchant who threaten to start a automatized manufactory, thanks to which he will not need human power any more… and your friend, and many others, will loose their jobs.
And you know also Arthur Higginbottom (17), a kid to whom you were a big hero in your times. He is working as a potboy at sir Waverly Scott (52) estate.
Doctors
As policeman, you get hurt a lot. The one who is usually taking care of you is Bruno Turner (40), an arrogant and expansive man, but since your care is paid by government, he always provided a good service. But that rigid man has no scruples, and he will kick out of his door anyone who can’t pay.
There is also a new doctor in town. A woman. Ruby Conray (30). You know her father was killed, and the murder was never resolved. Perhaps she is on the same boat as you. Even though she is a woman, she is doing her best to heal others, even though she is going almost broke because of it. You feel in your heart you are a bit worried to entrust your life to a woman, but you are doing all in your might to get over your prejudice, which you are well aware you have. You also couldn’t miss the way she and your partner are looking at each other.
Neil Johnson (chief of police, 45)
He seems to be decent, loving, and caring man… but he is too rich, and you suspect a faul play. You are genuinely confused by that man.
Liam Conolly (detective, 30)
Your partner. You admire his resolve, but don’t agree with his methods, which are too brutal. You wish he would care more for a simple folk. Like this, he comes often around as bully.
Merrill Collins (crime-lord, 42)
Head of prostitution, and messes with drugs as well.
Clau (22)
A girl friend of yours. You saw her only a few times.
Logan Ahern (crime lord, 42)
Head of illegal hazzard, and messes with drugs as well.
Samuel Fidget (22).
Right hand of Logan Ahern. When he was still a kid, you protected him from bunch of bullies.
Elliot Gregory (35)
Local priest, loving, and caring, a good man.
Arnold Shea (25)
Your best friend, charismatic, hard working, loving husband and father.
Grace Shea (20)
Arnold’s beautiful wife. Your Guinevere. You love her, but you are respecting Arnold way too much.
Arthur Higginbottom (17)
A poor kid from the neighborhood, who used to see you as its hero.
