Playfight (Matteo Tangi Lineage) is a structured embodiment practice combining mindful play, non-violent physical confrontation, and emotional intelligence.
And in its core, it is all about connection.
Connection to self. Connection to hidden or suppressed parts of you. Connection to each other. In your authenticity.
Playfight creates a lot of potential for play, joy, but also strength, and power, as well as kindness and tenderness. It is all about where you allow yourself to go… and where you actually need to go.
What to expect:
Within 4 hour workshop, you are going to experience
- 1 hour of games and warm up practices to understand the nature of playfight.
- 30 min demo of playfight rituals and processes
- around 1.5 hours of Playfight circle where you will have a chance to challenge anyone to 1-on-1 playfight
- (and what about the remaining hour? Well, that’s for intro, outro, breaks, etc..)
Playfight allows us to research hidden and blocked parts of self… but that’s not going to be the intention of this meeting. For now, let’s just experience it, have fun with it, and if you are going to like it, we will have a chance to dive deeper.
“I was playfighting to dig deeper into my complicated relationship with women. When it was over, and I looked around; all men in the circle were crying.”
