Lady Isabel Scott (34) is the wife of a very important man — the Knight of Kerry, Sir Waverly Scott. Everyone envies Sir Scott for having such a wife. Everyone wants her for themselves. She is a lovely person, with a smile for everyone in her class, and sometimes even for those beneath her. Yet, there is something cold and distant within her, and her eyes seem so… empty.

Years of Romance

When you were a child, you believed you would marry Early Clubb. Your parents and his were friends, so you spent much of your early years playing together. But then you were sent to church school, and he to military school.

At the age of 16, your mother introduced you to your future husband — Sir Waverly Scott, the Knight of Kerry. At the time, he was 34, in the prime of his life: handsome, charming, and graced with the aura of a war hero. You fell for him immediately. You married him a year later, and the following year, you gave him a daughter, Victoria. Waverly insisted on the name to celebrate his life’s victories.

But that would be the last victory he ever achieved.

Failed Marriage

You started to notice the cracks soon after the wedding—your husband’s tendency toward excess. He was often drunk before noon, passing out unexpectedly. While drunk, he could become aggressive… even violent.

And then came the loss of his potency. In the peak of your youth, desire, and beauty, you had a husband who could no longer satisfy you. When you tried to speak of it, he only grew angrier.

You tried to be a good mother, a good wife, raising Victoria as best you could. But with each passing year, you grew colder. More desperate.

Awoken Heart

The breaking point came when you reunited with your childhood friend, Early Clubb, and met his wife, Muriel. They were vibrant—young, beautiful, laughing, and free. Your heart stirred with longing for Early… but it was Muriel who stirred something deeper.

You accepted their invitation to their summer house and brought your family along. Secretly, you dreamt of entering Early’s bed. But it was Muriel who entered yours. On the second night, while your husband was passed out drunk and your daughter was out with her maid, Muriel dominated you completely. You were too stunned to resist. Then, bound to the bed, you watched as Early joined her — and joined you — in the act.

Hellfire Club

Since then, the three of you have been lovers. Every Thursday, you tell your husband you’re attending a tea party at Lady Clubb’s house—but that is only a cover. In truth, you partake in the unholy gatherings of the Hellfire Club with Early and Muriel. You worship Satan, get drunk, have orgies… everything.

Horrible sin

You have been present, that dreadful night, when Muriel Clubb brought that little girl to be used as an altar during a black mass. One by one, all man raped her. When it was over, she was dead. What a horrible crime that almost make you leave the club completely. Soon after, a police chief Neil Johnson had joined the club. Ever since, the events had been more reasonable.

Uncertain friendships

Hellfire club has a number of peculiar visitors. Among the most predominant is a bishop Columbus Ede. That’s how you understood he cannot be trusted as a Christian, and you started to go for confession to minor priest Elliot Gregory. Then, there is merchant Arthur Dart, the sickest sicko of them all. Finally, there is Claudia Knight, Muriel’s connection to underworld, who is bringing sluts, and sometimes taking a part in the orgies. Claudia might be a good connection to secret sources of power, if you were ever in need to stand up to your hudband… or anyone else.

Surprising Engagement

Now, your husband has shocked you again—he plans to marry off your 16-year-old daughter to a merchant, Bradley Harrington (42). He’s older than you! Why should you allow it?

If only you could divorce your husband and protect your daughter. But you’re not sure you have the strength to defy him. You once loved him. You miss the man he used to be.

Women’s Rights

You are furious with the laws of this country—the submission of women to men. Women should have political rights. Though women cannot vote, it is not illegal for them to be elected. If you could become a minister of parliament—or support another woman in doing so—the future could look entirely different. And the elections are soon.

Family Porter

In your desire to emulate Muriel’s freedom, you once seduced the family porter, Arthur Higginbottom. You called him while showering, then used him like a toy until he licked you clean. It never happened again.

But now you’ve caught him looking at your daughter—and worse, seen her look back. You know it’s wrong. He is far beneath her. Perhaps fine for a secret tryst… but marriage? Unthinkable.

And still, you feel the sting of jealousy in your heart.

Sir Waverly Scott, Knight of Kerry (husband, 52)
Used to be a great hero, decorated veteran, man of passion and grace who you fell in love with. He turned out to be only a desperate violent drunk unable to perform in bed. You are obliged to be a good wife to him, but you despise him nevertheless.

Lady Victoria (daughter, 16)
Your little sweetheart. You wish to protect her, but you don’t dare to stand up to your husband. Whatever he is, by law, he is still the head of the family.

Early Clubb (33)
You wanted to marry him as a kid. Now, you just wish to fuck his brain out anytime you see him. If you could become his wife, you wouldn’t hesitate a second.

Muriel Clubb (34)
Your role model, you mentor. Passionate, fierce, devious woman who turned your little innocent Early into a lady killer. You fear her, and adore her – and you would kill her without hesitation if it meant you would have Early only for yourself.

Bradley Harrington (merchant, 42)
You despise him. Your daughter should not be forced to marry someone who is almost three times her age!

Arthur Higginbottom (17)
Your family porter. Nice boy. You made him your pet once. You see  how he is looking at you… and at your daughter. You also see how your daughter is looking at him.  You suspect there might be something going on in between them. Which is not proper. You want your daughter to marry out of love, but for someone who has a prospect in life.

Neil Johnson (chief of police, 45)
Corrupted for sure, nevertheless rather nice man, who is holding himself back (still, he is cheating on his wife), and prevent Hellfire members from doing another too dreadful crime. Still, time from time, some animals dies and some prostitutes get overdose.

Columbus Ede (bishop, 45)
Devious hypocrite who made you loose a lot of faith in Christian church. But he is also a lot of fun. Still, if going to confession, you prefer to go to Elliot Gregory.

Elliot Gregory (priest, 35)
A good priest, even though priest of the poor, beneath you.

Claudia Knight (22)
Young, right hand of a criminal boss who you don’t know. Very strong, beautiful, and capable. She might be a good resource in case you will be in a need of support.

1. She has an affair with Sir Early Clubb

She is secretly the lover of her childhood friend, Sir Early Clubb. Their passion is real, dangerous, and forbidden.

  • Knows: Muriel Clubb—his wife, and Isabel’s co-lover.
  • Should not find out: Her husband, Sir Waverly Scott, and her daughter, Victoria.

2. The “Thursday Tea Club” is the Hellfire Club

Isabel’s polite weekly tea gatherings are a cover for her attendance at the Hellfire Club—an underground society of decadence, rituals, and orgies.

  • Knows: Early and Muriel Clubb, bishop Columbus Ede, merchant Arthur Dart, Claudia Knight, police captain Neil Johnson
  • Should not find out: Her husband, merchants, clergy, and anyone who could use it to blackmail her.

3. One-time affair with Arthur Higginbottom

In a moment of reckless curiosity and desire, she seduced the young family porter. It happened only once—but once was enough.

  • Knows: Only Arthur and you.
  • Should not find out: your husband and, perhaps most importantly, your daughter.

4. Secret feminist sympathies

Behind closed doors, Isabel reads treatises on women’s rights and dreams of a world where women may speak and vote freely.

  • Knows: nobody but you
  • Should not find out: your husband, the authorities, and conservative aristocrats

5. In Hellfire, they raped a little girl to death

She was present to that horrifying scene,  when little girl was brought as a living altar for a Statistic mass, one by one raped by all male members of the club (including Bishop Columbus Ede and Early Clubb), and when it was over, the girl was dead.

  • Knows: Early Clubb, Muriel Clubb, Columbus Ede, possibly someone else
  • Should not find out: the authorities

1. Divorce
If there were any legal means to sever the bond between you and your husband, you would take them without hesitation. You no longer love him. You owe him nothing but the performance of loyalty. In truth, you would set fire to your vows if the law allowed it.

2. Prevent your daughter’s arranged marriage
Victoria is still a child, and they want to sell her off like livestock to a man twice her age. You will not allow it. She should marry for love—freely, not by decree.

3. Women’s rights
You seethe at the laws that chain women to men, the silence imposed on half the world. Women should have voices, power, votes. You want to change that—not only for your daughter, but for yourself.

4. Ensure your daughter doesn’t fall for Arthur Higginbottom
You saw the glances. You know what they mean. But she cannot be with a servant. Not truly. He may be kind, even sweet—but he cannot protect her, nor elevate her. She must marry wisely, and well. Love is not enough. Not anymore.

5. Be with Sir Early Clubb
You love him. Desperately. Madly. You crave his body, his voice, his presence. You want to be his. Not his secret—his wife. His partner. You want to wake in his arms without shame.

6. Rise above Muriel Clubb
She is your idol and your rival. She opened your eyes, she gave you strength—but now, you see what she has. And you want it. Her power. Her position. Her husband. Her throne. You ache with envy and admiration. But you will take it all. One day. And she will see you shine.
